International Affairs Minor

Minor Requirements
Students must take seven courses, including: HIST 1024 – Western Civilization II: Western Civilization from the Seventeenth Century to the Present, and PS 2194 – International Politics; either ECON 2024 - Principles of Microeconomics OR ECON 2034 - Principles of Macroeconomics; either PS 3244 U.S. Foreign Policy OR PS 3254 International Law; at least two courses from one of the following regions (see below): Africa and the Middle East; Asia; Europe and Eurasia; OR Latin America; and one elective course (see below). Students are also required to complete course 1034 in a modern foreign language or demonstrate equivalent proficiency. No more than 2 courses from a student’s major or other minor pattern may be used to satisfy requirements of the international affairs minor. Additional courses not listed here (such as special topics, independent study or courses taken at other institutions) may be used to fulfill the requirements of the minor with the approval of the program director of International Affairs.
