PHIL 2004 - Feminist Philosophies 1 Course Unit(s) Also listed as WGS 2004 . Covering authors from the 1700s through the present, this course presents a survey, exploration, and critical assessment of the varieties of philosophical thought orbiting around what have been known as the “woman question” and “feminism.” Topics may include educational reform, suffrage, equal rights, psychoanalysis, socialism, radical feminism, post-modernism, and feminist critiques of popular culture.
