ENG 3664 - Early Twentieth-Century American Literature 1 Course Unit(s) A study of North American literature from the turn of the century to World War II. Includes an examination of the Modernist movement and the Harlem Renaissance as well as the work of other influential authors. Reading may include works by Sherwood Anderson, Willa Cather, Kate Chopin, ee cummings, John Dos Passos, William Faulkner, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston, Charlotte Perkins- Gilman, Ezra Pound, Gertrude Stein, Wallace Stevens, and Richard Wright.
