ENG 3204 - The Romantic Lyric 1 Course Unit(s) A study of the lyric as it was transformed by British Romantics into a vehicle for sustained introspection and psychological analysis. The course explores the ethical and political dimensions of these aesthetic developments and situates them within a history of revolutions—British, American, and French. Authors may include Wordsworth, Coleridge, Blake, the Shelleys, Keats, and others.
