EDU 3424 - Women in Education 1 Course Unit(s) Also listed as WGS 3424 . Examines the impact of women on philosophical foundations in the field of education and the subtle forms of sexism that undermine the education of girls and young women, including trans women, in current educational contexts. Students will explore the work of historical and contemporary women philosophers to understand their unique contributions to the field of education. Current research associated with gender identity and/or intersectionality in education may also be examined.
