MUS 1274 - Music Theory for the University Student 1 Course Unit(s) Develops proficiency in the specific skills and theoretical concepts necessary to read and write music, as well as in the related aural and keyboard skills. Basic pitch and rhythmic notation and manuscript techniques, scales and keys, intervals, chords (including both traditional and commercial notation), and transposition and harmonization.
