ART 1024 - Introduction to Visual Art 1 Course Unit(s) An investigation of the personal, social and cultural roles of art and visual communication from a contemporary perspective. Students will explore conceptual, formal and technical issues in the visual arts through studio projects, lectures, class discussions and visits to regional exhibitions. Fulfills an art history elective in the art minor.
