3-2 Engineering Program

Cooperative programs are available in which a student may receive both a B.A. degree from Transylvania and a B.S. degree in engineering from a cooperating school of engineering. These programs require 3 years of study at Transylvania and 2 additional years at the cooperating school of engineering.

Requirements


Students pursuing 3-2 Engineering Program must complete all of the General Education requirements and a minimum of 25 units at Transylvania. After completion of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at approved institution, they will transfer back the remaining 11 units needed to complete the degree requirements at Transylvania.  Transylvania will award the student’s Bachelor of Arts degree. The degree will be in physics if the student completes six physics courses at Transylvania; otherwise, the degree will be in liberal studies.
