CHEM 3175 - Physical Chemistry II: Applications


1 Course Unit(s)
An application of the fundamental concepts of physical chemistry to questions of relevance to the various sub-disciplines of chemistry. Students will explore how these concepts form the foundation of our understanding of matter at the atomic and molecular level. This course will include advanced topics in quantum mechanics, spectroscopy, thermodynamics, and chemical kinetics. Prior completion of CHEM 3165 is recommended, but not required.
