ANTH 3504 - Gender in Cross Cultural Perspective 1 Course Unit(s) Also listed as WGS 3514 . Provides analysis of the cultural conditions (both material and ideological) that shape the meanings underlying masculinity and femininity in various cultural contexts. Perspectives from Marxist and feminist theory, political economy, psychodynamic/psychological anthropology, and evolutionary psychology are utilized to understand gendered differences in cultural behavior.
