ANTH 1074 - World Prehistory 1 Course Unit(s) An overview of major cultural developments in the world from the spread of modern humans throughout the world to the dawn of history. Prehistoric cultures from Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe are discussed, using archaeological and ethnographic source material to explore such topics as the origins of agriculture, the first cities, the development of the state, trade and warfare.
