ARTH 2174 - Art and the Internet

This course considers how the internet shapes art and how art shapes the internet. In particular, in this class, we will examine how our contemporary capabilities to reproduce and share artworks around the globe instantaneously inform what we understand the role of art to be in our current world. Moreover, we will enrich our understanding of internet art culture by producing content for an online audience.
