ART 2164 - Printmaking I 1 Course Unit(s) Printmaking students will learn the fundamentals of printmaking. The course will cover important foundational aspects of printmaking including safe use of equipment, monotype printing, relief printing, intaglio and screen-printing. Craftsmanship and understanding of aesthetics unique to the methods and materials of printmaking will be heavily emphasized. Students will gain knowledge through lectures, demonstrations, group discussions, critiques, and independent work.
