SOC 2414 - Gender and Society 1 Course Unit(s) Also listed as WGS 2414. A sociological examination of the intersections of sex, gender, and sexuality with other social structures and institutions. Deconstructs and interrogates the categories of sex and gender to examine how current and historical constructions of these categories have implications for inequality, privilege, oppression, and resistance in the U.S. and transnational contexts.
