ECON 3094 - Econometrics 1 Course Unit(s) Designed to teach students how to use introductory econometric models and techniques, providing them with the basic tools of econometric analysis so they can apply these tools for estimation, inference, and forecasting in the context of real world economic problems. Topics include regression analysis, model specification, multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, autocorrelation, maximum likelihood, and simultaneous equations models. The emphasis is on the practical applications of econometric methods to economic analysis. (Taught in alternate winter terms.)
