CLA 1014 - Introduction to Greek and Roman Mythology 1 Course Unit(s) An introduction to the major figures, myths, and themes in Greek and Roman mythology. Students will consider how ancient and modern writers, artists, and thinkers have used this mythology in their works. Attention also will be given to modern theories of myth and to the relation of myth to religion/cult and politics in the ancient world.
