BIO 2454 - Genetics 1 Course Unit(s) This course covers the fundamentals of genetics at the population, individual, cellular and molecular level. Topics include Mendelian inheritance, gene regulation, mutations, genomics, evolutionary genetics and epigenetics. Assignments will focus on the application of course content to a variety of fields of biology and the use of genetic databases for independent research explorations. Lecture and laboratory.
