ART 3674 - Painting II 1 Course Unit(s) This course is designed to facilitate a deeper exploration of the craft of painting and will encourage and guide students in their development of a personal creative vision. It is intended to elevate the student’s technical ability, artistic ambition, aesthetic sensibility, and give students a greater awareness and appreciation of contemporary art. Students will be provided with very open themes/prompts to generate ideas for each painting and will be challenged to explore conceptual ideas and how to communicate those ideas visually and verbally.
