PSY 2144 - Animal Cognition 1.0 Course Unit(s) This course explores cognition across a range of nonhuman animals, examining how different species perceive, learn, remember, and solve problems. Discussions focus on both the mechanisms underlying behavior and the evolutionary pressures that shape cognitive abilities. Students will evaluate the similarities and differences between human and nonhuman animal cognition. This course examines a broad range of species, from fish to primates, providing a comparative perspective on cognition. Standard grading
