HES 3074 - Introduction to Epidemiology 1 Course Unit(s) This course introduces students to the foundational principles and methods of epidemiology: the study of disease distribution, factors influencing said distribution, and effective dissemination of findings. Students will explore core concepts such as measures of disease frequency and association, study design, and sources of error in epidemiologic research.
