An examination of the mental processes that allow us to sense and interpret information from the world around us, store information for later
retrieval, use language to represent the world, and determine how to respond to the changing environment. These processes often balance accuracy with efficiency and thus are not perfect. Topics include perception, memory, attention, language, and decision making and will focus on real world problems and activities. Standard
