ECON 3174 - Environmental Economics

Examines the interaction of the environment and economics. Topics include resource depletion, market failures and externalities, economic regulation, and valuation of non-market environmental goods. A theoretical examination of welfare economics and cost-benefit analysis will be utilized to address the practical, political and ethical implementation of different environmental policies.
