EDU 3074 - Interactive, Integrative Learning Climates for Teaching Social Studies

Students will develop theoretical and pedagogical knowledge related to designing and assessing interactive and integrative learning experiences for teaching social studies in the elementary grades. Attention will be given to the integration of social studies concepts with other disciplines and subject areas, including music, art, drama, and literacy. A special focus will be placed on designing culturally responsive social studies instruction for diverse learners. Requires 8 field hours. Requires 8 field hours
